About Invisalign
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign® is the most convenient smile makeover tool in the industry and is the clear alternative to traditional braces. Comfortably and inconspicuously straighten your teeth with these clear aligners for a healthier mouth and a beautiful smile!
Why should I choose Invisalign®?
Do you want straighter teeth and a healthier mouth but don’t like the appearance of traditional braces? Look no further! With Invisalign® you can achieve the smile of your dreams simply, effectively, quickly, comfortably and seamlessly blending in with your teeth for an inconspicuous treatment process.
Key Benefits:
Fast and effective treatment: Frequent aligner changes adapt to the constantly changing conditions of your teeth and result in quick yet comfortable progress. Invisalign® can help correct many smile imperfections including: cross bites, overcrowding, open bites, gaps in teeth, overbites, and underbites.
Easy to take care of: Invisalign® aligners are designed to be removed while eating and drinking, which makes taking care of both your teeth and your aligners easy.
Practically invisible: With their virtually invisible aligner trays, Invisalign® is perfect for anyone who wants to have straighter teeth but is hesitant to get braces because of their appearance. With Invisalign®, there’s a good chance no one will even know you’re wearing them!
Comfortable and convenient: The Invisalign® treatment process involves multiple sets of aligners, making for more comfortable transitions as your mouth changes. Don’t worry about having to restrict your diet either! Invisalign® aligners are fully removable, meaning you can eat and drink what you want, when you want, while also allowing you to continue your normal brushing and flossing routine.
How it Works
Step 1
Your Invisalign® journey begins with a consultation appointment. At this appointment, the doctor will discuss the benefits of treatment and your smile goals to decide if the product is right for you.
Step 2
If you decide Invisalign® is right for you, a custom treatment plan will address all of your needs. A digital scanning system will create fast and precise images of your teeth. These images will be used to develop your treatment plan and timeline.
Step 3
Your aligners are fabricated and it’s time for Invisalign’s proprietary SmartTrack® technology to get to work. You should wear your aligners 20-22 hours a day for optimal results.
Step 4
The doctor will monitor your progress and make the necessary adjustments to ensure your comfort and provide the best results possible. Adjustments are made in the form of new aligners, which gently shift your teeth into correct positions. Each set of aligners will need to be worn for approximately 7-14 days before moving on to the next set.
Step 5
Your aligners will be changed until you are 100% happy with your progress. Once satisfied with the results, it’s time to enjoy your new smile!
Invisalign FAQ
Will insurance cover the cost of my Invisalign®?
Yes. Most insurance coverages do include coverage for Invisalign® treatment. Payment plans can be developed to suit most budgets. Major credit cards are accepted.
Is Invisalign removable?
Yes! Both sets of your aligners may be removed at any time for easy eating, drinking, brushing, flossing, and overall care.
How long will Invisalign take to work?
Treatment time is similar to braces and differs with the severity of the dental bite. A more gradual process may be necessary for adults.
Will my aligners be painful?
Most of our patients do not find their treatment to be painful or uncomfortable. Small changes to the aligners help your teeth adjust gradually and gently.
